Our programs are designed primarily for Indigenous children, youth, and families. Some workshops, events, and training opportunities are also open to schools, organizations, and community members who are committed to learning and supporting Truth and Reconciliation.

Not at all. Whether you're deeply connected to your culture or just beginning your journey, you are welcome. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to reconnect with their identity in a supportive and respectful environment.

No. Most of our programs do not require a referral. However, we welcome referrals from individuals or organizations. Some specialized services or partnerships may have different registration processes, which will be outlined with the program information.

We make all of our programs as barrier-free as possible. Thanks to funders and community partners, all of our youth and family programs are offered at no cost to participants. We make all of our programs as barrier-free as possible.

Our programs are led by Indigenous facilitators and guided by Elders and Knowledge Keepers who generously share their knowledge, teachings, and lived experience.

For many Indigenous Peoples, wellness is deeply connected to the land. Time spent on the land provides opportunities to strengthen cultural identity, build relationships, learn from Elders and Knowledge Keepers, and support physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. This understanding guides many of our programs and reflects our belief that culture and connection are essential to healing.
On the Land Youth Cultural Programs

Absolutely. Our programs are welcoming to participants of all experience levels. Often our programs are day camps and do not require overnight stays. We provide guidance, support, and opportunities to learn together.

Each program provides a packing list ahead of time. If you don't have all the necessary equipment, please let us know—we'll do our best to help remove barriers to participation.

Yes. We offer engaging workshops that help organizations, schools, and community groups deepen their understanding of Indigenous history, culture, and reconciliation while encouraging meaningful action.
